91ÊÓƵ the Professional Order of Engineering Technology

The Professional Order of Engineering Technology is a new tradition created by 91ÊÓƵ’s College of Aeronautics and Engineering to recognize the achievements of engineering technology alumni and graduating students.

Engineering technology professionals bring hands-on application, technical implementation and practical problem-solving to the workforce. The Professional Order of Engineering Technology honors that contribution and the commitment these graduates make to their profession.

As engineering students are inducted into the national Order of the Engineer, the college wanted to create a meaningful tradition for its engineering technology students and alumni. This ceremony is a 91ÊÓƵ tradition and is not affiliated with a national or professional organization.

At the inaugural ceremony, alumni and graduating students will receive a special pin symbolizing their shared professional identity and their connection to Kent State.
